I made this carrot cake specially for myself, a cake that I like but not my kids...

I use the organic carrots which bought back by Lucas from his recent school day trip to a organic farm. The price of this carrot is three times more expensive than the normal carrot.

Today I cooked this sambal udang (chili shrimps) and Nasi Lemak for dinner, strongly demand by my kids. Ya, my kids they are now declared as Nasi Lemak Lover too!!

Marble Chocolate Banana Cake

To all who celebrate Mid Autumm Festival, I wishing you 中秋节快乐!

This marble chocolate banana cake was created not intentionally, thought to make a banana cake, while preparing, just remember kids like chocolate chips so I added some. Before pouring into cake tin, suddenly just think why not make it marble effect, so added one portion with cocoa powder and it came out with this moist and yummy marble banana cake. This was also the 1st time i noticed my son Desmond eat more than one piece as normally he doesn't fancy on cakes.

Cola Chicken Wings 可乐鸡翅

I have bookmarked this recipe long time ago, just tried it yesterday since I have some chicken wings left in the fridge but run out of idea what to cook.

Fried Hokkian Mee Hoon (Rice Vermicelli)

Beside Hokkian noodles, i also like to cook this Hokkian Mee Hoon (rice vermicelli) especially to serve during lunch time, quick and easy. And this Hokkian Mee Hoon is one of the noodle that must have in a Birthday party, and also very nice if serve with chicken curry.

Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary, Gold Coast Australia

On the 1st day in Gold Coast Australia was a raining day, spent the whole morning planning the places to visit, left only half day, thus we decided to visit Koala and Kangaroo at Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary. We just took bus at the nearby bus stop and bus stopped just in front of this wildlife park, so convenience.

Churros

Our 1st time tasted Churros was in Gold Coast Australia but not in Malaysia. We bought two Churros (at least 1 feet long in size) before we exit from the Dreamland. My kids were impressed after tasted their 1st Churros and keep saying not enough and wanted me to buy more, but too bad I can't buy for them since we have came out from the Dreamland. And I promised to them I will make Churros once we came back home, as I know I will get a good recipe from my blogger friend.

We like the cripsy outer and inner soft texture of Churros, best to eat it while hot!

Mixed vegetables, Stingray and cockles Curry

Last weekend I went back to my hometown to attend my cousin's wedding dinner. A party was held at his house before the wedding day, and this mixed vegetables, stingray and cockles curry was served in the party, it bring back my childhood memory. This is a common curry served in the party in my kampung (hometown) since my kampung is a small fishing village, fresh fish and cockles are easy to be found here.

Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Australia

Dear all, How are you? I'm back for blogging.
After helping my sister settled the funeral matters, I brought my kids and mother to Gold Coast Australia which I have planned this vacation for several months ago. Life still have to go on..
