Brought my kids to Canopy Walk in one of the weekend where this place is just 30mins drive from my house. A 200m long, the canopy walkway was constructed in 1992 for scientific studies of above ground flora and fauna. It was built 30m above ground level.
All your pictures bring back memories to me about my camp at recreation jungle in Melaka long long time ago. It was fun with all kinds of trees, small creatures, and never forget about those wild monkeys..;p
ReplyDeleteNice place you've been..:)
i also wanna go there for jalan jalan!
ReplyDeleteThis is 10mins away from my house and everytime I go back Malaysia, I'll accompany my parents here for their weekly jog, thrice a week. It's very tiring but good exercise. The canopy is not operating for everytime I am there, I dunno why!!!
ReplyDeletelooks like a very good place to bring the kids for some outdoor fun for once as they are always hiding in their rooms playing pc games!

ReplyDeleteits good to be close to the nature, we wish to join such activities too~ sometimes, we feel like getting away from our concrete jungle... and have a walk at the forest :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to get close to the nature...nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Nothing like being close to nature. Reminds me of my childhood days. Sigh! How time flies!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun day out!
ReplyDeleteGot chance, i also wanna go there...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like nice family fun. Very nice photos. We have a canopy walk close to us, and often when family is in town we visit. We don't have waterfalls though, pretty flat here.
ReplyDeleteCool! Didn't know there's a cool place like this! Thank you!

What a nice family outing together in nature...thanks for sharing this. :)
ReplyDeleteFRIM - this brought back some memories for me. More than 10 years ago, I visited FRIM, trying to understand the use of rubber wood for particle wood construction... Malaysia still has alot of rugged nature all around you - in Singapore, we have to guard the handful of patches diligently.
ReplyDeleteNow this sounds like a great way to get back to nature. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Sonia,

I was hopping around and landed here.
I'm going to attempt my ang ku kueh soon.

Dear all, Thanks for stopping by. Ya, I like my kids close to nature.
ReplyDeleteQuinn, check the operating hours, plan well, am sure next time you are able to make to canopy walk.
Lyndsey, share with us some of the pictures of the canopy walk near your area next time, ok.
Shirley, good to know that you been to here. Ya, Malaysia still has a lot of green forest.
Chaokar, Thanks for dropping by.
Anytime is a good time for a canopy walk :) I'm sure the kids were awed by Mother Nature.
