CNY cookies
I managed to bake 3 type of cookies on the last 2 days before CNY.
Crispy coconut cookies
This is a type of cookie that I wanted to learn how to bake after i tried it at my brother-in-law house last CNY. After I failed to obtain the right recipe, I created myself this cookie. We love this cookie, cripsy and full of coconut aroma, will share the recipe later.
Ghee cookies/ balls
I was adapted this recipe from Jane's corner and this is a type of cookies that I wanted to bake long time ago.
Baking ghee cookies using my brand new Teka oven !!
Ice cream cookies
This is my kids favourite, cripsy and melt in mouth like ice cream !
On the New Year Eve
This is how i decorated my new dining table
This is the only new dish (Mixed vegetables with fish maw) that I cooked this year, the rest are the same as per last year.
Sweet End !!
This is my practise to have Tong Yuan dessert ( glutinous rice balls) at the night of New Year eve to end a year with sweet end !
1st day of CNY
This is also my practise to have full day of vegetarian on the 1st day of CNY, and this is the Lo Hoon Choi (mixed vegetables ) that I prepared today.
10 types of ingredients
Seasoning with Nam Yue (red femented bean curd)
We also visit to Tian Ho temple on every 1st day of CNY.
I have to stop now, as I need to pay using my iphone to update my blog. I will provide recipe and link of the recipe for above when my house internet connection is up.
I would like to wish all my Chinese readers and bloggers a Happy Chinese New Year 2011 ang Gong Xi Fa Cai !
