I have almost forgotten to post this refreshing Lychee and Lime soda drink recipe until a reader (Sem) was asking me for the recipe as she would like to prepare this drink for her son's upcoming Birthday party..This drink was served in the recent bloggers CNY gathering at my house..
This new toy make my life so easy, easy to squeeze out the lime juices
but grate the zest is a bit time consuming...
A very refreshing drink...
Lychee and Lime Soda drink(recipe source: by Sonia aka Nasi Lemak Lover)
10 Key Limes (Limau Nipis), grating the zest and squeezed the juices
Soda water
Syrup water
Ice cubes
Methos
1. Blend Lychee syrup (together with the Lychee flesh) and lime zest till fine.
2. Add in lime juices, soda water and adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding the syrup water.
3. Add in ice cubes and enjoy!

Baby Sumo, I got the zester from Ikea whereas the hand juice extractor you can get it at Pantry Magic. I bought my juice extractor in Melbourne.

Ooo...this is good enough to make me salivate. Btw, have you tried the local lime-lemon before. It smells so gorgeous. It's between the flavour of lime & lemon and it's larger than the limau nipis. Local product! I think you only can get those at the local wet market.

ReplyDeleteAbout the Creme Brulee, I use brandy as I did not have Kirsch, but I have seen it at Giant Supermarket quite sometime ago, at the corner where they sell only liquors. It is very expensive! Hope to see you soon with your Creme Brulee!

Jaynelle, So far I only saw one standard size of canned lychee syrup. I can not tell you the weight right now as I don't have one in my pantry .. Anyway, I bought this syrup from Tesco.
