Shinsaibashi-Suji 心斎橋筋, Osaka Japan


We took JR train from Kyoto to Osaka-shin, after dropped our bags and we immediately heading to the famous shopping street Shinsaibashi-Suji 心斎橋筋. Shinsaibashi-suji, a covered shopping street, a place that you don't want to miss as there is the most happening place in Osaka.

We were amazed by the number of drug stores here, so many..

We went down to the Daimaru departmental stores to check out their foods section..From here I know Japanese love sweet things very much..

Daifukumochi (大福餅), I realized that i have forgotten to try this out when i was there..

We did not buy castella here but we got it from their main store at the outside ..

  10. I have been to this place many times. Another name we call it - Numba City. I love the ballet shop, think it called Chalotte or something like that! Did u try the syrup coated sweet potato? One the must eat along this endless walking street. Very nice photos, and brought me back to many old memories. Thanks!
