Chinese Steamed Ginger Clams 姜蒸啦啦


Since the Little Thumbs Up even is going to end in few days time, let me quickly post this steamed ginger clams so I can submit to this month theme " Ginger". Ginger is an ingredient that you must not missed to add if you cook with any seafood as to get rid of fishy smell.

Chinese Steamed Ginger Clams 姜蒸啦啦

1.5kg fresh clams
lala1 copy
1” ginger, shredded
1 spring onion, cut into 1” in length
1tbsp fried garlic oil

Seasonings
1/2tsp chicken stock powder
1tbsp water
1/2tsp salt
1/2tsp sugar
1/2tbsp light soy sauce
2tbsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiao Chiew wine

Method

  1. Mix all seasonings in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Place clams in a steaming tray and add seasoning mixture, mix well.
  3. Garnish with ginger, spring onion and fried garlic oil.
  4. Steamed for 10-15mins or until cooked. Serve hot.

  23. i super dont wanna fren you jor...me lau hau sui jor...i love these lala . Where did you get the lala and how u know it's fresh? Bought once from pasar...not fresh. Many dead lala :(

  25. I've made this before but the clams I bought were so grainy after cooking :P I think I haven't clean it thoroughly ugh ! Yours looks very tasty !
