Switzerland, Zollikofen/Bern, Part 1

We arrived at Zurich airport on Sunday morning and immediate transferred to a small town "Zollikofen" where my husband has 2 days meeting there.

1) We check in to Hotel Gasthof Tiefenau (http://www.gasthof-tiefenau.ch/hotel/showlinx.asp?lang=d)

- It was not a luxury hotel but just 3 stars hotel ( for the same price you can easily get a 5 stars hotel in Malaysia), but the room is clean, cosy and got "kampung" feel.

a. The external view of the hotel is same like the old Swiss design.

b. A very antique radio player in the room. But not sure this player is working or not, I didn't try it.

2) Since we have half day free time in the Sunday afternoon, we took 5 minutes train to a nearby big city " Bern" for walk around.

- You can easily get the snow mountain view from any corner.

p/s I will be back on next post for what I eat in Zollikofen and Bern.

  6. I like Switzerland, it's such a beautiful and peaceful place! Great series of photos! Great scenery definitely. I really like the buildings there, historical and unique. Unlike here in US, every city looks almost the same.
