Nasi Lemak Picnic at Hutan Lipur Lentang, Bentong, Pahang

We found this interesting place when we on the way back from The Elephant Santuary the other day and to keep our promise, we brought our kids to this place during this short school term holidays.

- We purposedly reached there early morning, so we can enjoyed breakfast there.

- After the breakfast, kids immediately jump into the cool water and enjoying bathe..
The water was pretty cooooool....

-Few areas have a lot of rocks and stream was flowing quite rapidly... not very safe for kids swimming near this area.

My husband even set up tent for the kids... but too hot for them to stay inside long...

- Desmond dared to play the swing and actually he did quite well.

-We also enjoyed our lunch there, our favorite Nasi Lemak and some fried stuffs.

-Lucas enjoying his favorite Nasi Lemak

- My little cute wet look Desmond....

Direction: Look out "Hentian Hutan Lipur Lentang" sign board along the Karak highway, turn your left when you see this sign board if you come from KL....We took about 1 hour to reach there from Klang.

  9. Nancy, the ground is sand and I think it became this color. Thanks I have received your sms.

Bakeling, this time the sambal is quite spicy, so kids just eat little bit only.

Annie, sambal chili ikan bilis was prepared 1 day ahead, the rest of fried stuffs and rice, asked my helper to prepare in the early morning, so not really tired lar, I'm sure every mum will do it so long as kids are happy.

Reanaclaire, is the other way round, my kids quickly eat and immediately jump into water, so food can not attract them for this time, hahaha..

Felvinc, i think this place is much nearer and you can have picnic there, kids will sure love it...But frankly speaking, I dont see any Chinese family having picnic there but instead many Malay families was enjoying picnic, BBQ and even camping there for overnight, I dont know why...

Ai Wei, is good to enjoy the morning fresh air, feel more healthy...

Cindy, is true, kids will always remember this kind of fun things till they have grown up, so I want to give my kids a good memory during their childhood..

Colin, ya, Desmond was really cool, Lucas scared to try that, but Desmond keep line out and wait for his turn to swing, a brave and cute boy..

  15. I really loved outdoor picnic but dislike the fact that we women always have to sacrifice our sleep to cook and pack the food & stuff for picnic. My solution, go buy KFC/ burgers for picnic, but nasi lemak or beehoon with curry taste better at picnic. Susah lor!

  17. Little corner of mine, since I'm not often go for picnic, little sacrifice should be ok, ya, maybe next one, I will just buy KFC/MCD...

Agnes, ya, you should visit there in one day.
