Crispy seaweed

My sister taught me this easy to prepare CNY cookie, crispy and nice, sharing with you the simple steps:-

1) Prepare egg















2) Spread egg on the spring roll skin( use the big square size)
















3) Place seaweed (normal square size) on top of spring roll skin, and gently press both sheets to get it stick together.















4) Cut into rectangular size

















5) Heat oil and deep fry until crspy

















6) Finished Product -Crispy seaweed

Bakeling, you can find it either in the supermarket or market, but it is a bit pricey. Just do it yourself, simple, cheap and healthy.

温馨小屋, I use only 30mins to prepare for 10sheets of seaweed.

Thanks for sharing. Just to check, deep fry this in a little oil will do is it? Coz in your step (5), I saw that there was not much oil, thanks.

HK Choo, sorry for my late reply, a bit slow to check back my old post, hehehe. Ya, how much oil is very much depend on you, this can go with a lot or little oil, to save oil, I use little oil only to fry this. Hope this helps.

Jess, yes, it will automatic roll up after fried, try it out, this is crispy and nice aroma! If i have time this year, i also want to make this.
