Chocolate rice and walnut butter cake

I got this idea to bake a chocolate rice and walnut butter cake from a Full-month package that I received from a friend. This cake is slightly crispy on the top due to added the chocolate rice, and I especially like the walnut inside.

90g sugar
a pinch of salt
135g cake flour

50g chocolate rice
50g chopped walnut (slightly roasted it)

1. Beat butter, salt and sugar till creamy
2. Add in egg one at a time
3. Fold in cake flour and baking powder
4. Mix in chocolate rice and walnut, don't overwork it.

Do enjoy Baking !!!

Chocolate rice! Is it really rice coated in chocolate? That cake looks amazing. Butter cake was my favorite type of cake to get from Chinese bakeries.

Hi Sonia. Nicole here. My family loves your chocolate rice walnut cake. I made it twice and each time we finished it off immediately. ! issue, why is my cake not fluffy as yours? it doesnt rise and is quite heavy. but we love it thou. and is it possible to reduce the sugar or replace it with brown sugar?
