Hi Emily,
After retire from work since Sept08 (not too long ago) , nothing to do and free, so use the free time and log on to Internet to see and look, especially like those food, travel and fashion news. After read your blog, I started like the Bento concept. Ya, I need to quickly settle my notebook problem otherwise I couldn't publish my 1st Bento set.

Emily, pls find below Sambal Petai & Prawn recipe, but I can't tell you the exact measurement as I always judge ( agak agak only) by my experience:-

Ground ingredients:
Dried chillies
small onion
1 big onion
galangal (lengkuas)
garlic
1 stack lemongrass ( serai)

1. Heat oil in a wok. Quick fry the prawn and set aside.
2. Use the same oil, fry the ground ingredients until fragrant and oil separated, remember to add some sugar while frying the ground ingredients.
3. Add Petai and Big onion slices, stir to incorporate well.
4. Last, add in prawn and salt to taste. Dish out.
Happy trying my own recipe ....
