Steamed egg tofu with pork and prawn

Follow to Annie's recipe "http://chezannies.blogspot.com/" steamed egg tofu with pork and prawn, the taste wass very good. But I made a slight change, actually we do not need to cook the separate sauce as some sauce (tofu water) will come out after steamed, and the sauce already contain sweetness, so I just add little bit of soy sauce, sesame oil& fried shallot, the taster was wonderful...

As not to waste food, for those extra tofu after spoon out, I added some chili , pork, prawn and bean paste (Tocu) , it became another dish so called Mah Poh Tofu, the taste was yummy yummy.

Nasi Lemak

Nasi lemak again, this time I cooked my own chili sambal recipe, healthy way of rice (no coconut), fried luncheon meat, fried lady finger (my daughter and i favorite vege) and the rest.

The recipe of this chili sambal is very simple, just cook (malay usually say it as tumis) blend chili ( dried chili) with a lot of cooking oil, tumis at least 1 hour. Lastly add in blend onion, sugar and salt.

Herbal Eggs ( Car Yeh Tan)

Tonight I need to prepare Herbal Eggs for my daughter to bring it to school for celebration of Children's days. Nowadays, childrens have to bring something (either food, gifts, drink & etc) to school when Children's days. When I was young, I can remembered we dont need to bring anything instead teachers will prepare for us, we just enjoy our Children's day.

Anyway, I will start to cook it from tonight and let it cook in the slowcooker until tomorrow morning, I'm sure it will taste good. Again, I followed to " Twister" recipe, photos of my herbal eggs which I cooked for the 1st time on 3rd Oct.

Curry Laksa

Never cook curry laksa before, trying to search in all blogs, finally got the recipe from "Twister" - Thanks Twister.

I followed exactly to Twister''s recipe, but I change prawn to char siew (like hawker style) and also add in curry powder to get the curry taste ( noticed Twister recipe didn't add in curry powder, when 1st time I tried without curry powder, it didn't taste like curry laksa, more to assam laksa version). Due to healthy issue, I didn't add much of coconut milk, so the soup is quite clear and can't compare with outside hawker stall, but at least it is healthy lor.

I even garnish it with Mint leaf.

Nasi Lemak again !!!

Weekly, I will prepare nasi lemak for dinner at least once. Actually my nasi lemak version is healthy version, no coconut milk add into the rice, just pandan leaf, ginger slide and sea salt.

This time, I have grilled squid "sotong", sambal with onion (my daughter love the onion so much), and the rest.

Thinking to put a photo on my blog, of course, I will not put mine( pai sei), thinking to put my kids, still searching for the best photo....
