Yong Tau Foo

I must introduce to you this " Yong Tau Foo" stall, their dumpling and beancurd sheet are very nice, crispy outside and juicy inside. Usually we will order a big place of this.

-This stall is just inside the restaurant Meru Jaya which is located just right beside the Parkson Klang. This stall owner has been selling "Yong Tau Foo" for almost 10 years ++, they just shifted here few years back.

- All these are my favorite vegetables.

-The dipping sauce, for me, this is a bit sweet.

- very nice " Chu Cheong Fun"

Lucas's Birthday

Yesterday 6th Apr was my elder son (Lucas) 9th years old birthday, and this was also my first time bake a birthday cake for him.

1) Birthday cake (sponge cake)

- Lucas requested a chocolate cake, thus I added a lot of chocolate powder but the cake turn out not as expected ( hard and didn't expand, maybe I added too much of chocolate powder, or maybe I should add some baking powder).

- No choice I bake another one, this time I didn't add anything, just basic sponge cake, it turn out very well.

- This was my first time decorated a birthday cake, together with my kids.

- I placed the failed one-chocolate cake at the bottom and good one on the top, the cake taste ok but a bit hard, maybe next time I should bake "Chiffon cake" instead, like Felvinc was doing.

2) I also prepared some kid's favorite dish-fried rice, fried potato chips and chicken nugget, few red eggs (must have when birthday) and their favorite sushi from Jusco.

3) Pineapple fried rice- learned from a TV show ( not sure the name, what" stylish man xxx).
The taste was very delicious and yummy.

Pack breakfast

During weekend, sometime I will pack breakfast from the nearby wet market. There are a lot of varieties can be choose e.g nasi lemak, noodles, kuih-muih & etc.

-Putu Piring, RM 3 for 8pcs, cheap and delicious.

- difference types of "Yau Char Koay", RM 0.60 /pc, best to accompany with Kopi O.

- This packet of ground coffee was actually bought from Brazil 3 years ago, but never thinking to brew it because lazy to prepare and furthermore no coffeemaker. Thus normally we just drink the instant Nescafe 3 in 1. After came back from Switzerland, we are really missed the brew coffee. Finally we got our self a set of drip coffeemaker and start to brew coffee every morning.
