This morning, i just realized that i have a small piece of pumpkin (only cost me RM 1) still sitting inside the fridge and I think already there for more than a week. Sometime i just buy things and planning to make something, but the end i was attracted by other recipes and totally forgot about it, hehehe..Since i have quite long did not bake a chiffon, so i added this pumpkin in this chiffon and resulted a very moist and soft chiffon, also like the natural golden colour..In fact, this small piece of pumpkin can turn into 3 chiffons...

Homemade Croutons ( Oven-baked )
I like to eat Caesar salad, it is quite expensive to take a plate of Caesar salad at the restaurant..I went through my cookbook and realized that it is so easy to make it at home..But before i can make Caesar salad, first i need to prepare Croutons (small piece of sauteed or rebake bread)..

Kueh Lapis / Steamed 9 Layers cake 九层糕
After seeing the Anncoo's announcement about stop blogging temporarily due to her health problem, I feel sad and down. I tried to call her twice but unfortunately there was no answer..I really hope that she will get speedy recovery and able to post again. From this, i start to think that i should also slow down my pace on blogging, sometime blogging takes too much of my time for cooking/baking, taking pictures, download pictures, prepare recipes and post it..sometime my shoulder is pain and tough! Thus, from now on, I would not like to set a standard schedule for posting, when I feel like to post then i will post it..this is my new resolution..
Back to today post, just like to share with you this traditional steamed 9 layers cake, one of our favourite kueh.

Hokkaido chiffon cupcakes 北海道牛奶蛋糕
When i first saw this nice cupcake liners in the bakery ingredients shop, i know it will perfectly for making Hokkaido chiffon cupcakes. I did this cupcake before, but this time i replaced the non-dairy whipping cream to dairy whipping cream for the filling. I made the right choice, dairy whipping cream gave very milky taste and perfectly match with this light and soft chiffon ..I will make this again and again.. And this is also perfect as a gift to given out to friends and relatives..

I am very happy as i have my own copyright blog's icon now. Hope you like my blog's new look..
This is another market that i visited beside Queen Victoria market, Prahran Market is the oldest market of Melbourne. I took 20mins to walk along the Chapel Street (South Yarra) from the The Olsen hotel where i stayed to get to this market..

Strawberry Mousse Cake
Last month i did not make a Birthday cake for myself because I celebrated my Birthday in the flight when we returning from Melbourne..But I still think a Birthday must have a Birthday cake..Yesterday I purposely made this Strawberry mousse cake for myself..also i want to practise first because i am planning to make the same cake for my sister's coming Birthday.
These pictures were taken with all decorative items that i bought from Melbourne, a gorgeous Donna Hay cake stand, tea towel from Royal Albert (only able to buy tea towel as the tea set is very pricey) and Pashmak Persian fairy floss 波斯棉花糖 (bought it at Queen Victoria Market).
