Spaghetti Aglio Olio with fragrant Ham

Spaghetti Aglio Olio is one of the pasta that I like the most, just with these simple ingredients-Olive Oil, Garlic and Basil leaves, easy, fast and good.

IMG_6050
-These are my favourite holders to store Spaghetti ingredients, Spaghetti Holder ( see the cute rabbit and dog !!) and Olive oil glass bottle.

- Since Spaghetti Aglio Olio is a bit plain in taste, usually I like to pan fry some ham with light soy sauce till fragrant and add to the spaghetti

And your pasta dish is pure and simple. Easy to put together after you've had a busy day. I'd like a little meat on mine too, using the ham is a great idea.

Nothing better than a simple pasta dish such as this. I now try to keep my pastas simple as well and not drown it with sauces. Great dish.

Hi, nice blog!
A tip or two over pasta cooking, you can add salt into the pasta boiling water, 1 tablespoon full to 1.5 liter of water. This way the pasta will absorb the salt while cooking and it tastes better than adding salt into the dish later. :)

Also, get a good bottle of extra virgin olive oil, drizzle some over the cooked dish and mix well before serving.

You can try substitue dried chili with ready chili flakes.
