I was try to use my new toy (KA mixer) to make this banana cake, but i realized that a simple hand mixer is more convenience when you prepare a small cake like this, hehehe..

2. Beat butter with the sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Add in egg one at a time, add in vanilla, mixing well.
4. Fold in flour and mashed banana, combine well.

Sonia,
I like the golden crust of ur banana cake.
I just wonder why it's not convenient to use a KA mixer for this cake.
I already can smell the nice fragrance of the cake by looking at the picture =] the cake is looking good~
Çok farklı bir lezzet ellerinize sağlık.
Saygılar.
Banana cake! I am sure my husband would love it because he really likes banana, same with my bunnies (unfortunately they are not allowed to eat cakes of course with banana or not ;)!)
One of my favourites. Diane

With the amount of banana, this cake is full of banana goodness! Love the evenly brown crust.
I like banana cake! I've only tried the steamed version, but I think the baked ones are more fragrant.
The cake has come out so well. I love banana cake!
The only cake tray I have looks like yours so maybe its a sign I must try this beautiful cake!
How timely for your banana cake to appear and it has a beautiful golden look! Reminds me that I have 4 bananas beginning to over-ripen.
I agree about the golden look of your banana cake - no wonder they say banana is some "gold attraction" :p
Indeed sometimes simple things in life can really make us feel so good. Yummy cake!

I will probably have this with a cup of strong black coffee...hehehe...
Feel like having a bit of it... hehe...
agreed with u...we are not a heavy user most of the time so sometime still think the std size one more convenience . i bought the kenwood mixer is mainly for bread making only. haha
I love banana cake the most. Banana smells good in butter. Yours looks so moist.
May I have a slice please. This looks delicious and I'm loving the golden color.
Sonia, don't have pictures of the sliced cake?
love banana cakes! To be honest - i would prefer banana cakes over those creamy-cheesy cakes. I find banana cakes more healthier and tastier to my taste :) Thanks for sharing. love ur post!!
Have a lovely day!!

Fantastic looking cake...Thanks so much for wishing me a happy birthday...and thanks for letting me know what time it was there...I've always been curious...you are 13 hours ahead of us here.
Picture perfect banana cake! Yum!
There are some things that is more convenient with the hand held mixer, and it's rather indisposable, even when the stand mixer is around, especially when it comes to beating eggs above hot water or over the stove.
Just like Swee San said, I want to see a slice of the cake, can???? Cos the outside looks so yum.
Thanks for the recipe. I can imagine your kitchen was full of the sweet aroma in baking!
wow, u had one good "assistant", nice banana cake...
I'm thinking of making a banana cake tomorrow and here I see yours. Now I can't wait...might as well make today and enjoy earlier...haha
Dear all, Thanks for your kind words.
Angel, because hand mixer is more handy to handle.
