Monkey Forest, Monkey Forest Road, Ubud Bali

ONLY monkey pictures in this post !!
If you bring kids along to Bali, bring them to this Monkey forest at Ubud, I am sure they will have a lot of fun !!

The monkeys here are pretty harmless if you know how to respect them and not disturb them..
Try not to bring anything like bottle of water, sunglasses on your head that they can grab and take off with it

Restaurants next to rice field... that's pretty! We have some areas where we can see monkies in Japan too. These pictures reminded me of that. :)

这个我很怕!之前到过。什么东东都要收好。
这些坏蛋什么都要拿的。要拍照都怕怕。小朋友的眼睛也被抢下了。哈哈哈~

Hi Sonia,
I' ve been to Ubud twice and I must say the monkeys in Monkey Forest are indeed very wild :)

Have you tried Cafe Wayan at Monkey Forest Road? It's v famous, a bit pricey but service and food are good. They serve both balinese and western food. First time we tried their smoked duck, second time we tried their gazpacho and papaya salad, all very nice.

Another suggestion is Putu's Wild Ginger, just google it. Cheap and nice.

Oops, I was mistaken. We had smoked duck at Dirty Duck, not Cafe Wayan :)

If you like roast pig, you can try Babi Guling at Ibu Oka, it's very famous but I refused to try it after I had watched their youtube video. Delicious but unhygienic. :)
