Pan fried Salmon and Mushroom Soup

A simple Western meal in one of the lazy Sunday.....

The meal consists of:-
1. Salad pack from Cold Storage- Romaine Leaf, Radicchio, Wild Rocket, Frisse, and Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing
2. Pan fried Salmon- Salmon coated with pepper and sea salt, pan fry till cooked.
3. Dressing for Salmon-chopped shallot, ginger, garlic, red chili, basil, parsley, mix with lime juice, olive oil, soy sauce, salt and black pepper
4. Japanese Potato salad- will share the recipe in next post
5. Mushroom soup- I was using Cherry on a Cake's recipe.

-very nice creamy mushroom soup with garlic bread

*** very economic to prepare this meal at home, if we were taken similar meal in outside restaurant, definitely it will cost much much more..

Salmon fish - my sons favourite...yummy yummy. Home cooked food is much cheaper and most important is the cleanliness of the food we prepare.

Mia, hehehe, I'm poor in preparing Western style of meal, this salmon I tried in one of the restaurant before, as usual, I replicate again, but the dressing sauce I created by my own, very Yeah Mei..

Canary, I like mushroom soup too.

Sulian mummy, that dressing is very nice

Annie,you are right.

Jane, you dont like it?

HS Kitchen and hobby, yes, you are right, healthy too.

Petite, the dressing is very appetizing..sour, salty and sweet..

Rachel, Thanks for your nice words.

Anncoo, simple and nice meal.

Palidor, Thank you.

Nancy, ya, my house like a private cafe, everything I also try to cook.

Colin, is true, I bought this Salmon on promotion price in Tesco, the price in restaurant easily cost you 2-3 times higher..

The Salmon Dressing is DIVINE ! I love the use of Chili... must have such a rich spicy flavor & just love how that works with a fish like Salmon. Also ...me looking forward to that Japanese Potato salad ! Sounds Good already ! : )
