Fried Pork Chops and Curry Rice

Pork Chops and Curry Rice

I prepared this fried pork chops and curry rice for yesterday dinner, very similar to Japanese pork and curry rice. But I couldn't call this as Japanese pork and curry rice because i did not use Japanese curry paste.

Pork Chops and Curry Rice

Insteat i use this famous curry powder, a light and fragrant curry powder.

how did your pork chop turn to chicken at the last stage before you deep fried?

I always like eating Jap style curry rice. Adding in some tomato paste will give it that zing that some Jap curries have.
Looking at urs makes me want to make some too.

the colour and thickness of the curry resembles Japanese curry though it's not... this looks good esp with the perfectly fried pork chops :D

Those pork shops look perfect, Sonia. We don't fry foods very often, but for those, I am tempted to give it a shot. Your rice looks like the perfect complement to the meal.

Looks awesome, crispy deep fried pork. How interesting that the curry powder comes from England. Spices are cheaper in Asia, and very good quality too
