Lemon Meringue Pie 柠檬蛋糖派 , CNY bloggers gathering

Today is the last day of February, I have to finished update those foods that I made during CNY. I prepared this Lemon Meringue Pie when a group of bloggers came to my place during CNY time (sorry for this poor photo, I was no time to take proper photo at that time).

Penang was the last stop for Jessie to meet up bloggers during her short visit back home here. And just so coincidence my hubby has to attend a wedding dinner there, so i grap this opportunity to follow him and joined this countdown party at Eileen's house..We had a great time there , so many yummy foods that prepared by Eileen, Joceline, Mandy, Casey, Angie and San San...

Dong Zhi Festival 冬至快乐 , and a bloggers gathering

Happy Dong Zhi, the Winter Solstice Festival to all my Chinese blogger friends and readers. I am sure by this moment, you all have enjoyed a bowl of Tangyuan. I have been very busy for the last two days (sorry for not visiting to my blogger's friend blog, but i promise will drop by soon) , because i was busy make preparation for Jessie KL gathering at my house yesterday.

Mango pudding

Last weekend, I went to a Chinese Book Fair in KL in order to meet up with bloggers 鲸鱼老师 and Spdong. This mango pudding recipe is adapted from a dessert cookbook that i bought from this book fair.

Sakura cookies 桜花饼& Giveaway, and a warm bloggers gathering

I was so happy when i spotted this preserved sakura (桜花漬（おうかづけ), selling in a small shop in Kyoto (will provide where to get these in the later post, no time to sort out the information)..One of the item i was planning to use this beautiful sakura is to make a swiss roll. But when i saw dailydelicious posted her beautiful Sakura cookies, i just could not wait and immediateky try it out..I also brought this cookie to a bloggers gathering yesterday, they all just love it.

Sweet sambal tumis, a CNY potluck

Today i would like to share this sweet sambal tumis (improve version from here) that i prepared for a recent CNY potluck party held at my house..I always prefer sambal tumis (mean slow stirring in Malay) with slightly sweet taste.

A good Lunch at Quay Po's house

Veron ~Quay Po Cooks~ invited us to her house for a good lunch recently. A nice table setting to welcome us. Wish i can have this kind of nice table setting in my dinning room...

Salmon Otak-otak, ~another wonderful bloggers gathering ~

Here i would like to share with you the another bloggers gathering i attended during CNY. We had a potluck and BBQ party at Reese's place at the poolside. All of them i had met except Quay Po Cooks. I also learnt the salmon otak-otak from Quay Po cooks which is very yummy and my kids love it especially my little son Desmond.
