Looks delicious but I heard petai stinks so I will pick out all the prawns and leave behind the petai :P
Interesting to try the love-it-or-hate-it ingredient! Looks beautiful, so must taste divine :)
This is our all time favorite (except my husband). Normally it's very difficult to get my elder son to take his meal, but when you tell him there's petai, immediately he will say he is hungry.

I agree that you either love it or hate it! I looove it and it's my hubby that cooks sambal petai.
It's a lovely dish and it goes well with some prawns. I love it but not the family. For some reasons, it makes the 'after effect' rather pungent. :)
Woooo...yum yum!! Funny thing is that I dont eat petai but I love the sambal cooked in petai. Does it make sense?? :)

Your photos today are amazing. I won't be able to duplicate your recipe for lack of ingredients, but I would if I could. I really looks and sounds delicious. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary

Hi Sonia,
I have not eaten Sambal Petai for ages! We don't have Petai in the UK. Your Sambal Petai looks scrumptious! I might replace it with French bean (boring).
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Simone
