See the enamel plates just sitting on the floor, this is the only shop that selling this kind of old fashioned enamel plates in this wet market. Not many like to sell this kind of old fashioned plates anymore according to this shop owner. These plates are cheap, price ranging RM 1.50 (USD 0.50) to RM 4.50 (USD 1.50), depend on the size of the plates.

U are purposely tempting me with that prawn dish ya! My mum used to make something similar too, except for the radish and I followed suit ;)
Of late, I've stopped eating prawns...gimme the gravy alone! Yummmm :D

WOW, where's that shop???

Yeah I bought those casseroles actually. Was really interested at the rose print. Anyways, it's porcelains. The other plain white ramekins I have made of porcelains too. ;)

Great dish with small shrimps and big flavors; I love that shop, it looks a lot like the Asian shops in my neighborhood and also the shops in Lebanon or throughout the middle east!

Sonia those prawns look AMAZING and I love the simple flavors in them!! Can't go wrong with curry :)

And those Chinese plates definitely remind me of home. Except I will never use them because they don't match anything I currently have, haha.
