我很喜欢牛油果...不过最近我在JJ看到的都很难熟的:$
That is interesting adding avocado to cake.It sounds delicious.
Jane, this was my 1st time bake a avocado cake, have no idea what to be substituted. I would suggest you just omit corn meal and slightly increase the flour.

Great looking cake! So smooth. The avocados are quite cheap. As long as I know, it costs about RM3.99 for one. Lucky you! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Hope you're having a great weekend.
Cheers, Kristy
The texture looks amazing Sonia! Now this is the type of pound cake I would like to sink my teeth into. Your cotton cheesecake sounds very good...so good you could make a lot money selling it :D I would just have to change the filling for myself :)

hi sonia, that was really a good bargain that you're getting for your avocados! i would like to give this a try someday, thanks!
Wow you certainly get a great bargain out of the avacados. Over here the cheapest I can find is 0.75 cents each and that also when they are in season. I actually never bake with avacado. It is a good idea to incorporate them into cakes since they are so creamy. Well done Sonia!
I have never seen avocados in bakes ! This is something definitely very creative and it looks good !

3 avocado for RM3.50 is very cheap leh....
我这里的有机店有卖polenta,不过是比较粗的,你那包polenta看起来比较好!

Very nice! I like using avocado in baked goods, healthier!
I am sure this cake has a unique flavor. When find cheap avocados, got to try this out. How was the cooking show last Sunday? So sorry I missed it and miss catching up with you.
I love the idea of using avocado ... your cake looks really beautiful.
I really am curious how it taste like - such an interesting combo - avocado and cake!
Avocado should give this cake a moist and rich flavor. Saw your blueberry cheese cake- you should really start to take orders now :)
I was caught by your avocado in cake :) Definitely new for me! I only like avocado in guacamole but this sounds excellent and not too avocado-ish, hehe...
Oh! This pound cake looks d=beautiful, like the idea of cornmeal in it...great with a cup of tea. Hope you are having a wonderful week Sonia :-)
How buttery and rich with the lovely avocado! I bet it's scrumptious!
Your recipes are simply awesome. I'm a nasi lemak fan too not to mention the Lo mai kai :)
Who would have thought an avocado would make a great pound cake ... not me for sure!
