Australian Ham and Avocado Baguette

I had baguette for breakfast at the same cafe for 3 times during my visit to Melbourne, because i simply like to enjoy baguette..Eventhough my hubby found there is nothing special on this baguette served at this cafe..After coming back home, i immediately prepare this baguette for a quick lunch..

This was the Baguette cafe that i visited, it is located just beside South Yarra train station..

Ham and Avocado baguette at AUD 7 + coffee AUD 3 = AUD 10... after converted, quite expensive huh..actually everything in Melbourne is very expensive after converted to RM..

I have noticed that they topped the baguette with mustard and a lot of herbs and spices, so i also bought a bottle back home, this is what i got home..

Sonia, you mentioned Australia, I must quick quick drop by to see what's interesting here, haha! 1st time of seeing Chardonnay mustard. A very special mustard.Hmmm, next time when I go to Hunter Valley(famous winery in New South Wales), I must get myself some special flavoured mustard. We usually will get ourselves cheese & wine but haven't paid much attention to some wine flavoured mustard. Thanks for sharing huh!

Aiyor, don't convert la. Like that sure die, sure everything expensive.
Blame it on our low currency.
White wine mustard... that's a good buy. I've not seen that here.

Love the mustard you bought. I should have remind you to get the pickled horse radish which you can hardly find it here. Pickled horse radish is perfect for anything especially for sandwiches & burger.

You must loved baguette so much that you even made it at home. I am like your hubby, I don't think it's special and won't eat it if I have a choice. :P

I like good fresh baguette - the only problem is that the hard crust sometimes "cut" my lips :O
